Shishuvihar, as its name suggests is a place for children for joy and pleasure. Founder of the institute late Shri Manbhai Bhatt and his colleagues nurtured Shishuvihar and rendered selfless service to the society in areas of child care, health, hygiene,education and integrated development of children and women since 1939.
Shishuvihar is known for working on Gandhian principles and methods, human and secular approach, high level of discipline, values and ethics in all its activities and projects. The credibility of the organization is of highest order in Gujarat and outside.
Shishuvihar is one of the pioneering NGOs in Gujarat in the social service activities like blood donation, eye donation, body donation, Bal-Kridangan projects, informal education, tailoring training to men and women, first aid and disaster management training, scout and guide activities, women empowerment projects bal-mandir and respectful care taking of retired and elderly persons.
